Nearly bought them yesterday online from suttons £6-95 for 3 but bought them today at Lakeland in store £5-48 for 4....bit puzzled though as online it says £5-48 for 3 at Lakeland. Defintely 4 in my packs though.

Yes they last about 3/4 years if you clean them off carefully and really do help. The plants tend to grow their roots through them. Actually they probably last even longer but I accidentally broke some this time but i will still add the bits to my hanging baskets.

I use either a 6" plant saucer or a saucer formed out of a piece of compost bag as a reservoir. This with water retaining granules in the compost meets my needs!
