Enough flower books to fill a library, but not got any insect books really.

its a Rutpela (Strangalia) maculata a longhorn beetle (Cerambycidae) according to this link.

Thanks. It seems to eat dead and decaying wood, of which there is a-plenty around the greenhouse area.

This beetle looked a bit like one I saw yesterday. I went to your link, and the first thing I found was my wasp-beetle!
