Hi all - does anyone have any spare squash/pumpkin seeds/plants of pretty much any variety? My seeds were attacked by mice - TWICE! I still don't know how they got in! Have now got a mouse proof area - but no seeds or plants! I will happily pay postage, and will be eternally grateful! - Love my squashes, and really can't go a year without!

Thanks

There will be a wide range of plants available at our open day... whereabouts are you? Or we could send you some seed if you suggest what you might like to feed the mice with (  :-[  )

I'm down in mouse addled norfolk!  :-\ lol. As for varieties - I really don't mind - anything other than butternut really. Summer/winter/pumpkin - anything would be very much appreciated!!!

Hi I still have plenty of winter squash seed - don't mind sharing a few, or can add you onto the end of the 3 sisters swap? Let me know what you need.

knbsallotment

Thank you all very much.

Suzanne - I don't mind either way. Whichever is the easiest for you.

Am getting very excited now - making up for those depressing visits to the allotment recently! God d**n the mice. lol. I know they need  to eat bless em, just wish they'd eat the weed seeds instead!

is there realy no specific variety you want?

knbsallotment

No, there is no specific variety - will pretty much give anything a go at least once - as long as it is edible, not ornamental. I can usually find a suitable recipe for most things, and as I say, I like to try new varieties.

I'm in Norfolk too - Norwich - and have/will have some surplus plants of Waltham Butternut Squash. Anna Swartz Hubbard and something that the packet said was very vigorous but forgot to label and lost the packet! Any good?

PM me your address and I will have a  look.  I have loads of self saved crown prince pumpkin. They are a lovely meaty pumpkin and the seeds germinate like wild fire.

Anyone heard from knbsallotment lately? I'm wondering if the seeds I sent ever arrived?

Suzanne

I think she is on holiday - I sent seeds too.

Little Bee

Hope the mice haven't eaten her too  :o
