Hi everyone.

After five weeks of solid digging I m here in Turkey on hols.  Missing my favourite website.

Allotment people are so nice several people volunteered to keep an eye out on my site for me.

Went to the market and bought some seeds.  Seeds!!!  Courgette seeds.  Nice looking cousa variety.  Loads and loads of seeds in the packet.    Hope to get some of them to germinate so they can be potted on when I get home.

I got a free packet of flat leaved parsley.  Did not know the Turkish for much prefer the crinkled leaved varieties.

Gardens here lovely.

I've just been over to your plot Digeroo and the marestails coming on a treat and I've watered your dandelions, have a great time and whats the weather like its dull and windy here.  ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Many thanks for helping cornykev but I think you got the wrong plot.  Too much lime in the soil for the marestails.  Did you know that you can buy dandelion seeds from Franchi.  Our whole site is overrun with dandelions. but the pig ate most of the ones on my site.  However the amount of seed blowing my way they will be a huge problem in the future.

Weather lovely.  Was really worried last week becuase it was sunny and warm in the uk and rainy over here.  Sorry folks but it is gorgeous here.  25 to 33.  Hotel amazing apart from the fact that I was given a room right next door to the disco and had to move in the middle of the first night.

Tomatoes in the salads not that special.  Smelled a few in the market not wonderful.  They do not need their tomatoes to taste of much the cover them in all sorts of things.  Best place for tomatoes is to go the the garden organic tomato tasting day.  Got some interesting seeds there and got to taste what I was saving first.

Hi There Digeroo. I bet you are having tomatoes at breakfast. When we went to Turkey we had the same bluddy brekkie every morning. Laid out on the plate in a pretty pattern. Spam cheese Tomato cucumber honey boiled egg and jam
When I get old I don't want people thinking

                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Digeroo,,
Merhaba! I don't know if you would get these at this time of year but you get nice dried beans on the market, similar to borlotti climbing bean.
