Hi guys me again!

Just having a good clear out and clean today. I have had my mini plastic greenhouse inside my lean to/sun room
to start my seedlings off. I now have Toms chillies and peppers all doing well have been putting them outside during the day all week.I am now wanting to move the greenhouse outside but unsure if the seedlings will be OK? I would like to reclaim the space back in the sun room for my dinning table!

What do you think?

Thanks Lucy

Hi
this is my 1st time growing toms and chillies from seed, so no expert! But I would think it would still be too cold at night for them.  My toms are still only about 4" high  and the chillies are just getting to 6 leaves so I'm planning on leaving mine indoors for a while yet

Would have to say leave them be for a while yet, is still too cold at nigh.

And if it is as windy as it is here, you might cry if they fall over! ;D
Smile at your enemies.

It makes them wonder what you are up to.

mummybunny

I probably would cry  ;D and i dont want the chillies to catch a chill  ::) so i'll leave them inside until it gets a bit warmer.

Thanks lucy

however, according to another post on here - http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,49916.0.html

you could put them out, but inside a polytunnel and inside a plastic greenhouse   8)

If the weather forecast is to be believed I wouldn't take the risk this week.

Can't have too many toms and chillies...  ;D

I have my tomato plant in the green house. I always put them out just after they get their first true leaves. I find this stops them getting leggy. If it is really cold i just cover them up with fleece. They have been there since the beginning of the month and are doing fine.

Excellent Twoflower... where abouts are you? Not Dubai like one of our contributors...  ;D
