Allotments 4 All

Here the latest project on my allotment. Keeping true to form nearly everything used was free. A lot of the glass was what others had lying around on their allotments.

Excellent... do you want to come and put me one up, I'm sure I could find you enough glass from our site...  :)

I would love to, but traveling expenses to derby :o
Got the roof finished today, hope to get the back and gable end done tomorrow.
Then hopefully I can concentrate on growing instead of building ;D

Love the house front door!

Bloke on the next allotment to me built a green house very like yours - only problem with it was that it got too hot! Sealed double glazing panes really keep the heat in.

Try growing pinapples and bananas!

We have one on our site too... you should take orders...  ;D

Got a bit more done today ;D
Lined the floor with weed fabric and made the folding staging.
just a few shelves to put up then its grow grow grow ;D

I love it!
A chap on a plot near mine has made a greenhouse out of perspex sheets and a fruit cage out of net curtains. 



This was taken last year, the curtains have since disintegrated!
