I cant remember which potato seed is which!!!

I bought kestrel, charlotte, red duke of york, rooster and maris piper and i cant remember which one is which. one lot is chitted purple sprouts another is chitting pinky red sprouts but the other 3 are all white! (left them in bag)!

arghhh poo!

Red Duke Of York should be easy to identify - bright red, especially when wet
Rooster are a deeper red almost purple.
Charlotte are very pale and oval shaped
Maris piper are a deep yellow and more ball shaped than oval.
Kestral is oval with pruple/blue patches on the skin.

A very good descrptive response Slugkiller, that should help sort them out...  :)

Thats what happens if you eat too many - you can name them by sight at 20 paces.

What's even sadder, I can generally name them by their flowers.

I must get out more.  :(
