Are these two chilli's the one and the same, have seen them advertised as seperate seeds and as the same thing, it's got me alittle confused, which is easy to do tbh ;)

Bhut Jolokia holds the current world record.

There's an article in the March GW mag going through a number of chillies in heat order from gentle giant to blow your head off.  Bhut Jolokia is listed as the Guiness world record holder at 1,001,304 SHU.  Dorset Naga is listed as 923,000 to 1,598,000 SHU - it reached the higher number in a GW trial in 2006.

The Dorset Naga's I grew last year are hotter than I could have possibly imagined!  Far too hot to use in normal cookery (and we LOVE hot food) unless you use the tiniest smidgin & I couldn't put them in my chilli relish or sauce for fear of ruining it!  So, they all just got left to dry out & once they are all completely dry will grind them up so can just use 1 tiny bit each time.  They do actually have a lovely flavour so well worth growing.
I'm a glutton for punishment though as I over-wintered last year's plant & will prob plant another from saved seed to see how that goes.
;D

:o Wow!! over a million SHU!!

...that is the equivilent of breaking the sound barrier (and in some instances may be the case ;D)

If you get some in any of your mucus membranes you probably will   :-X
