Allotments 4 All

Sorry to be filling the forum up with depressing posts, but felt I had to report that my plot (and the rest of our site) has yet again been struck by vandals. That's twice in a couple of months.

They've trashed my fence (critical as we have a big rabbit problem) and strewn everything around in my shed after breaking into it. I'm hoping and praying that they haven't nicked my tools - my car's in the garage so can't get down there to check it out (site's miles from my house). My lovely allotment neighbour called to let me know about the damage and has secured my shed for me.

People like my lottie neighbour make the world a better place, but even they can't stop me from feeling angry. I'M SO MAAAAAD WITH THE LITTLE

can't even begin to imagine how angry you must be at the mo ??? ??? it makes my blood boil when you realise how little respect/manners people have these days.....if i had done something like this when i was a kid and my mother had found out about it i would have got a right hiding................hope your tools are still there and here's hoping the little toads catch a nasty dose of some sort very soon

Not nice I  am sure.   Vandalism always increases in the winter months due to the cover of darkness.   :( :(

Seems to be on the increase of late. I wouldn't mind if they came in and helped themselves to a cabbage or a few sprouts. It's just as if all they want to do is destroy things. I really do believe that some of these thugs must have a screw loose cos it's not natural to do these sorts of things. All this ranting ain't gonna help you though is it mate

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. You're quite right Shirlton - ranting doesn't do me any good, but it did m,ake me feel a bit better! It's a beautiful sunny day here today, so going to get out and forget about the lottie for today, will be able to have a look tomorrow to see what damage has been done. Until then I won't worry or rant!!  :)
