Allotments 4 All

That's about it, then, weeks early this year. The mildew has not been funny. Never had it before in 50 years! I know we had a miserable crop but, equally, comparatively few greenies to store.

1. Glad to have a bunch of Cherries to pickle. [attachment=1]

2. Keepsake. Planted too early for keeping -?- but quite a few have not ripened. [attachment=2]
But I have some in the larder picked ripe a month ago which are looking fine!

3. The rest? Not really enough to see us through till Christmas - & have fried green toms. [attachment=3]

4. Longkeeper? Trying to avoid the too earlyness of Keepsake, sowed on 9 July. Too late??
