wouldn't we all sleep better in our beds if the Vice President was Michael Palin??

Surely, I can't be the only person in the UK that couldn't give a tinker's cuss about the outcome of the 'merican election.

It's three months before they are even being held.  I've been completely sick of them for the past six months.

This Palin lady does seem to have a bit more of the 'Normal' about her which is something fresh in the American world of politics. Thing is, if her 'boss' pop's his clogs in office...then she's a world leader......... :o

They all seem  "Normal" Ken untill they get in then they forget why they are there.

I really shouldn't say this, and people might get annoyed that today folks are still judged on their appearance especially women - but has anyone else noticed that Sarah Palin circa 20 (beauty queen, cheerleader, model, Kids from Fame big hair) is yes quite pretty, but more than 20 years later she's a total knock-out? and it's not just the glasses. There i've said it  :D

PS i'm not attracted to powerful women - I didn't fancy Margaret Thatcher one little bit  ;D

Yip I have.  Totally agree and if I was voting then she would get my vote ;D

they have given the kids unusual names (even by American standards  ;D )Track, Trig, Bristol, Willow and Piper. Track because he was born in the Track and Field season.........he's lucky he wasn't born in the Moose hunting season

also when the time comes I hope the Americans know just as much about the boyfriend of the daughter of the Deputy Prime Minister, as we do about their one (not even elected yet)

 I think she is GReatttttttt, but I can't wait for her to make her first trip down to New Mexico and then return through Alabama, N/S Carolina and GA,  ;)

She makes the Ku Klux Klan look moderate and might be only a 72 year old heart beat away from the Presidency - very very scary!!!

Well I've just seen it all this ------ on the news tonight and I mean Barack Obama making comments about Sarah Palin, how can any American accept this kind of racist discriminaction against Sarah Palin she does not need  any comments made against her and for what reason?,  I just hope the guy is taking his ticket out of it,

Barak Obama was commenting on the Republican economic policy being the same despite them pretending it was different.  He was not passing comment on the bigoted cow from Alaska (that was a comment on her btw).  Howver, I suppose it was inevitable that you would swallow the republican spin on the comments.  John McCain used exactly the same term when he was describing Hillary Clinton's health policy being the same as her husbands (actually hers as she was in charge of health policy).  Was it OK then Mr Smith just like it OK for truck drivers to strike but not public servants?  Why is the right wing so bloody hypocritical?

has anyone else thought that the closest thing we have in Britain to Sarah Palin is Ann Widdecombe?

can someone tell we whether this is a Good Thing, or a Bad Thing?
