The blue morning glories have only been open about a week!

And one picture of the crazy roaming trombone squash which always makes us smile
it is so much like a toddler getting into everything!

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I posted this recipe earlier and made some last night plus some to take to a friend- it keeps well and is very easy, one friend freezes it for winter which I'll try.

This has a light yellow flesh and not very sweet like some of the orangey squash- I doubt it would make good soup, but I've never tried.  Next year will try some additional varieties- bush type- and grow vertially. Gave up on courgettes years ago due to borers attacking just when they began producing :(  Others we've grown never have a problm with borers.  Fickle critters.
