Thanks Olicat - I hadn't realised it was on, and hadn't seen it in the last few weeks.

It's now set up to record the rest of the series - thanks for the headsup!!

I've just got back from my allotment where I've been attempting to pick runners and raspberries in a howling gale. As I was doing so I was thinking how unlike, how very unlike, Carol's balmy, temperate and and sunlit corner of fairyland where her impeccably well behaved vegetables doze photogenically in serried ranks. With Carol all we need is some kittens growing on a bush and the illusion would be complete.

Must confess the woman is so so positive and enthusiastic it kind of grates.  I love growing veggies - but not so that everything I grow is absolutely fantastic and beautiful and wonderful and so healthy and so tasty all the time......:P

I enjoyed her series when it was on TV before. Couldn't understand why she hadn't netted her brassicas though as she was complaning about cabbage whites. Also how come she had perfect carrots without covering them up with fleece?

Well, she might be a bit OTT, but as a beginner i feel just as enthusiatic about growing my own veggies... i am at the stage when everything about my allotment is exciting, even the hard graft!!! Ha Ha

I believe we were promised 'before' shots? ;)
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴
