Not going away this year, days out for all......today was MY day, so I chose to have a day at Portmeirion in Wales. I've always wanted to go, and even in the rain the buildings and gardens were just amazing and made the 3 hour journey worthwhile!

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Beautiful piccies Deb, and they remind me of being there only 2 weeks ago!  It's such a magical place and even the kids love it.  They like to play on the stone boat and explore in the woods.  We go most years as I have a step daughter who works near there.

Glad you had a lovely time there!

They sell 'bubbles' in the 'Prisoner' shop £20 each for a 4' diameter one! We were tempted (but only for a second) but the tide was in!

I do use Botanic Garden china, have done so since got a good set for our wedding...broken and replaced quite a few since then! However, one good thing about living in Derby, it's near Stoke-on-Trent where the huge 'seconds' shop is, so I wasn't tempted to get more at the little china shop there!
