Couldn't believe how quickly this burst into flower.  I went to the plot to water for half an hour - and came back - to this!

We were given the seed by my son's supervisor, sowed and over-wintered them in the poly tunnel, then planted them in various spots in the garden.  The scent is fantastic.  I wonder what colour the others are.  :) :) :)

Beautiful...though I must say mine are much godlier than yours, Very holey ::)

At least my slugs are smiling ;D

My white one has a lemony scent. Does yours?

cj :)

asbean

Yes - it's overpowering. I've just had a last sniff for this evening  :) :) :)  I'm going to order some seed from Chilterns, as I want loads of them next year.

I got mine in the Wyevale seed sale last year . 50 p a packet. Maybe worth you waiting and checking that first.

the flower and seeds are hallucinogenic, be wary when admiring the scent you don't get a nose full off pollen!  ;D ;D
You couldn't make it up!

asbean

Yes, can be quite nasty, like most hallucinogenics.  Will stick to alcohol, methinks.

Glad you said about that. It would explain the little pixie that lives in the pot under the leaves :-\

Beautiful flowers, Asbean - they're dead easy to propagate from cuttings too.
Lesson for life:
1. Breathe in     2. Breathe out     3. Repeat

Thanks, Amazin, I'll tell my son - he can set up a stall  :) :) :)
