Hi all,
Has anyone experienced their winter veg maturing early this year. I began picking my purple sprouting broccoli 2 weeks ago. The variety is Rudolph from Tuckers and was due to appear in January.
Furthermore, I am picking cauliflower (Panduick F1 from Tuckers) that was due to be ready in December (see picture below).  As for my sprouts....I will be starting on them within a week or so...
Does anyone know what is happening? I had thought purple-sprouting needed a cold snap before maturing.

My purple cape (from Unwins) apparently heads March/April - it has started heading this month.
The Black Spanish Round winter radish have already reached a decent size (harvest from October...) and we have had a few this month and last month in meals.
