Hi all

A bit worried about my beans! Lots of leaves at the bottom with some lovely red flowers come through, but towards the top the leaves look quite feeble.

Also the pots my tomatoes are in, are they big enough they are meant to be sweet millions.

Thanks in advance.

looks fine to me. Your toms have a lot more compost in the black buckets than mine do. My runner beans in tubs are in bigger tubs than yours, but since it's the first year i've tried it I can't say any more - except that I have to really make sure I water the bean pots well, or the leaves go limp very easily

Alot of peoples beans are struggling. It's probably all the wind we've been having

I used to grow all my toms in those buckets, they're great.

Beans dont ike to dry out and I believe are quite hungry feeders, but they look OK to me. Some varieties do have more yellowish foliage. I have put some in a tub, a bit larger than yours and feed them once a week with phostrogen as I did notadd feed to the tub.
I feed the tomatoes the same with a tomato fertilizer.

My beans are struggling as well; I think it's just down to the low temperatures. They'll be OK, I'm sure. Meanwhile, my peas are fantastic!

Hi The beans look fine to me they will take a while to fill out with leaf once they reach the top and the changeable weather is not good for beans i have had trays of them wrecked by the wind this year but if i keep them in the polytunnel they get to big so i can't win .

i have grown all my Tomatoes in those buckets for years there ideal but this year i have added extra nutrients to the compost and their the best looking Tomato plants i have ever had
