I planted a couple of carmen seeds, as the plan had been to get our greenhouse on the plot sorted for this season. Unfortunately, we decided to re-jig the order of jobs at the plot and the greenhouse is not yet set up. I have these 2 carmen plants. They are looking healthy, obviously behind as they have been in 5 inch pots in the conservatory. I know these are meant to be growin ina  greenhouse, but what do you think my chance of growing them in pots on the patio will be? The patio gets full sun all day.

I grew Carmen outside, with great success, in the Summer of 2006, but it was a good summer. I had a bumper watermelon crop that year, without any protection.

It's a good cucumber, one I intend to de-hybridise at some point in the future.

Thanks for the info. I will pot them up in big pots and cross my fingers then.

My Carmen are indoors.  Please keep us up to date as to how you get on with this.   :)

We've only grown them indoors. Very good.
