Name the following plant?

It came in a presentation basket.

I get the feeling it is a form of Begonia but I will bow to superior knowledge!

Plus! can anyone identify this weed?

The flower;

The leaves;

I once bought the weed as "Devil's Paintbrush" but my mother called it something else...

I recognise the pink one but can't remember it's name, and the second one I know as 'Fox and Cubs'

I think your plant may be a pink form of Flaming Katy (Kalanchoe). The common name of the Orange Hawkweed (Hieracium aurantiacum) I like best is 'Grim The Collier' (So called due to it's often sooty-looking hairs). Nice pics!

I'd vote for Kalenchoe also for the first. They sell them here in the food store, coming in different colors and they grow freely down in the Caribbean, heat and sun lovers. I believe they'd root easily like begonias though have never tried it.
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Palustris

Grim the Collier etc, is a terrible seed weed. We have it coming up everywhere because we missed one flowering plant a few years back.
Gardening is the great leveller.

That hawkweed stuff....it gets into lawns too and it's such a thug.

Love its other name!

Did I mention, I BOUGHT IT!!! They must've been pi55ing themselves in the garden centre that day!

Rhubarb Thrasher

I like it too, Grim Oop North

KP's in Glasgow & was thrilled when she saw her first in her newly-acquired garden.....3 years on, wonder if she's still so thrilled....hmmm..I wonder. ::)

Agree with Kalanchoe and Orange Hawkweed...............Hawkweed flowers are beautiful, but invasive!

Like the idea of them in a meadow though Lishka.
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.
