Allotments 4 All

Only one week and i am of three weeks in the sun.I have hired an appartment only 50 meters of the beach.It is now 35 degrees celcius.Fethiye here i come. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes grawrc.you are right it is one of the unspoiled places in turkey.The blue lagoon is nearby and seaturttles are laying there eggs on the beaches.The whole coastline is protected,because of there nature and wildlife.

a friends daughters just come back saturday.  had a lovely time but said that at 120 degrees it was too hot for her last thursday so she spent all day at the bar in the pool to keep cool.. ::)
we are going in september and cant wait two weeks rest and relaxation ;D ;D ;D

Stevie are you also going to fethiye?IT IS THE FIRST TIME FOR US,I HAVE READ ON INTERNET THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF BRITISH TOURIST GOING TO THAT PART OF TURKEY SOME HAVE EVEN AN APPARTMENT THERE,I WILL SEE IF I LIKE IT UP THERE,LAST YEAR WE WERE IN ALANYA,THAT WAS TO MUCH HECTIC,WAY TO MUCH TOURISTS AND A LOT OF ONE COUNTRY I DONT CALL NAMES,BUT THEY WERE A LITTLE BIT ANOYING,ABOUT THE TEMPERTURE CANT BE TOO HOT FOR ME,I AM REALLY A SUN LOVER.

Last time I was in Turkey was 86... Bodrum... too busy but apartment was in Badaci (?) Bay... just round the headland with a real beach, about 3 yards from the front door. All the locals came out by boat during the day but after 6 or before 10 we had it virtually to ourselves... swimming with the fishes..  :)

I went to Fethiye many moons ago, boy was it hot.  I am a sun baby, and I got heat stroke and flaked out!!

Anyhow, I know you will have a lovely holiday my dear friend, you deserve it.  Just wondered....who will be looking after your tomatoes whilst you are away sunning yourself?

we went last sept/ oct for a week and it was  never below 24 degrees any day ;D ;D
we liked it so much we booked to go again within a week of getting back ;) this time for 2 weeks  didnt think 1 week was long enough though it seemed like we'd just got used  to it and had to come home.  ???
