Just wondering if anyone out there has the same soil type as us: very dry, stony, chalky, absolutely impossible to waterlog.

And if so, what sort of crops have done well for you?

When we got back from our holiday with all the rain we'd had, our plot looked more like a shingle beach than ever! think all the top soil is washing away.
