Going to seed so that I can try saving some.

Quite a plant?

Wow thats a huge plant compared to my chard sown in a large pot which is only about 4 inches tall at the moment. I sowed somw at my allotment last month but nothing much seems to be happening, think I may have lost the seeds due to the heavy rain.
When did you sow this chard & did you do anything special to it?

Hyacinth

Is this last year's chard, Tim? I'm husbanding mine...loathe that time between the old giving up and the new getting ready to pick...

Some may recall that that one was in a row of last year's Beetroot!

Last year's Bright Lights will soon be going to seed & the new sowing is showing no signs of germinating.

But the new Kale is looking good - only a month without it.

And the Leaf Salad is in full swing.

Just bought some chard seed last week and put in some plant pots to germinate. I hope mine do as well as yours.

So are you feeling better now, Tim?
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Tim, your chard looks just like mine - currently nearly 4 feet tall and running to seed as well. I was thinking about saving some seed but as I inherited these plants when I swapped plots in January I've no idea if they're F1's or not. Still, no harm trying?

Cheers,
Rob ;)

Better Grannie? Thanks, but NO!!

Must stress that the plant in question is a sport or alien. Our others are normal size - 12" or so.
