Hi i was given a Jostaberry for my birthday, i cant take it back as the GC they got it from is miles away and i haven't the heart to tell them. Anyway its a good sized plant about 3'. I actually asked for a Blackcurrant plant, bless 'em.
Anyway if anyone would like it, i will swap for a Blackcurrant of good size or a few smaller B.Cuttings would be fine also.

Keep it

The result of the jostaberry hybrid is that it looks and tastes like a big blackberry but does not succumb to the diseases of the blackberry.

It also costs more to buy.

I agree, I prefer the Jostaberry berries over blackcurrants, hugely bigger and they taste fantastic. They can be a bit thuggish and grow into large bushes though, then you can swap cuttings for ever more on here.... ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I'll third that - plant it ;D

It's a blackcurrant/Gooseberry Hybrid.. large currants no spines... no mildew... strikes easily. Just cut off whole branches to strip the fruit which helps keep it under control!  ;D
