When will you start supporting the flags (leaves)?

And what method do you use?

Hopefully i will get my ropes up this next week to support the flags.
Not sure by what you mean by what method TEE GEE, but if you are reffering to how the leeks are planted, the base of the leek is just under the surface so the leek fattens out. In August i will either put a 5" collar on or earth up to get the button.
The trench was dug out 18" then 4" of well rotten manure 2" inches of soil repeated four times with a generous measure of Fish Blood and Bone, Calcified Plus and Rooster. the top soil to the bottom till the trench was back to its level, a top dreesing of FB&B, then a good dose of Jeys fluid
All i have to worry about now is Red Spider Mite. Fuzarium disease and rust and of course hitting the button.
