well its all going well. We've got the couple round from next door-he's a retired spy and God knows what she was. She's a hoot and must have been an absolute raver. (Maybe she's a spy too - for someone else). Her son pops round, who sounds gay but isn't (he works in Hollywood). First thing he says is - how many gins has Mum had? She's about 80. Don't worry, she's just on her second. He says - well she had 2 for breakfast, i'd better stick around.
I'm going next door for a quiet time with the ravers  :D

PS none of them look like thay have an allotment, so i'm safe telling you all this  ;D

frozen rhubarb - no. Pickled Rhubarb - yes. It all went wonderfully well. after me getting all stressed about it. Sometimes you just do the right things without thinking.
and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Markfield Rover who sent me some tomato seeds and a really lovely card out of the blue
