Allotments 4 All

we put in 30 crowns 4 years ago, now at pick every other day stage, should be every day in a fortnight ;D

I planted 20 crowns in 2005 - this will be the first real harvest, and i had the first three spears last night. Looks though another 20 will be ready to pick over the next few days and they are all gloriously fat.

I am going to be planting another 20 crowns at my other lottie next year, yummy.

have picked 79 spears so far

picked first 4 spears to have with dinner, cooked them and forgot to serve them DARN  :-\
