Had a very nice reply from Jamie olivers team re the varieties that were used in his tomato salad. Bit of book push, but a good reply. All those who guessed green zebra can go to the front of the class.

"Thanks for your email and enquiry.
The complete range of fruit and vegetables that Jamie grows are listed
at the back of his book "Jamie At Home" available now from all good
book
retailers. But here's a small sample for you:

Tomatoes:
Yellow - Yellow pear, Lemon boy
Green - Green zebra
Pinky-purple - Prudens purple
Orange - Auriga
Dark red/almost brown - Chocodel

I hope this helps you a little!
Keep growing and keep cooking!"

Does anyone have Prudens Purple, Auriga or Chocodel???

I think I am going to have to google as haven't heard of these.  :-\

Question: if you could only grow two tomato plants, would a green tomato be one of them?
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Gunnerbee thanks for the offer of Auriga toms - but I received my order from Baker Creek today - I think this will keep me going for a while I had forgotten I ordered another 9 different types of toms after the programme. Now have pink, green, more yellow, orange, and purple to go with the red, yellow and black types I was already growing. If not quite Jamies types I think I can create the same visual effect.  :) Hopefully!!
