do you sow now? some say to sow early, some later on,
the varietys i have are

ogen
topmark
crimson sweet
mt hoosier

only have a small amount thanks to the seed swap so dont want to waste them!!

I wait until April before I sow.

Oops - sowed mine last night  but am first timer with melons so thought I might succession sow every two weeks for the next month. Unfortunately I only got 4 seeds from one packet (which I will be discussing with the supplier  >:(  )
