We have a weekly Farmers Market in the town centre - most of the stuff looks nice but is very very expensive!   Anyway there is a guy who sells muddy fruit and veg and he had a few small bunches of daffodils (6 to a bunch) and was selling them as "Organic Daffodils - £1.25)

Which planet does he think we come from?  I asked him why he was calling his daffodils organic - and aren't all daffodils organic - he said that all daffodils are sprayed.  I asked for what - he said bugs - I said there aren't any around at the moment!  He said "OH YES THEY ARE!

Have you ever heard of anyone spraying their daffodils against bugs?!  Nah neither had I.

Can't see the point of going to that extreme - buying "organic' flowers for the house - can you?

I think some folk are purists and may well fall for that. But Ive never heard of anyone spraying daffs ???
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

I recently saw packets of 'organic cocoa' being sold for £18 in the name of 'weight watchers' !

We are as daft as daffy daffodil...

This one made me chuckle... I have a long row of daffs and thought would go and expect for bug`s!!... Not one single one was found.... So I must be truly Organic!  ;D ;D ;D ;D
