Allotments 4 All

As it's a very warm sunny morning today I thought I would colour my hair as I usually sit around in an old strappy t shirt waiting for the colour to take. (less chance of any dripping onto any decent clothes).
I opened the box to find no instructions.. :o...Not a problem, web site address on the packet.
I explained my predicament to the very nice lady and asked her how long can I keep the dye on my hair. She told me all I needed to know.
Ok... Here's the *Heads Up* part...(She Told Me)...As it's half term it seems alot of school kids get a kick out of swapping the colours around in the boxes :o... so always check the colour code on the box matches the bottles inside, because they had a lady once who thought she was applying blonde and it came out black.  ::)

Thanks for the warning - it's something I need to do in the next few days.   Do you know, I would never have thought of that if you hadn't said ...!!   But it made me laugh, thinking about what I could end up looking like! ;D ;D

When she told me on the phone I wanted to laugh out loud. It reminded me of my friend Pat, we use to waitress together in a posh golf hotel in Cornwall (She was head waitress). I was in my teens and she was old enough to me my mother  ::)
Every Wednesday she went to the same hairdressers to get her perm. Once a month she had the full dye job done. Well she came in one night with black hair...we were shocked and she just didn't find it funny at all. She always had her hair done like Marilyn Monroe. Apparently the hairdresser had been chatting so much she didn't pay enough attention to what she was mixing up. We told her to sue them, but I think she was happy with free hair do's for life.  ;D

my auntie used to bleach her hair so much, she put a colour on and it turned green  ;D :-X

I love colouring my hair.  I do check that the boxes have the right colour too because I must admit it would have been something I would have done when I was a kid if I had the nerve!  My OH says that my hair changes colour like leaves on a tree in the seasons and one day it will be winter and all fall out! :D

Nay, 'tis naturally pillarbox red with scarlet and blonde highlights......... :-X good job I don't  DIY by the sound of it.....

Not the cheapest option I'll admit, but I like looking at the colour charts and saying 'I'll have that one'................It's my only indulgence apart from seeds of course...and plants....and anything for the lottie.... ;)

Blimey what a cool idea, so I'll run  to the local boots, swap colours around and wait for all the ladies with black hair to come flooding through my salon door desperate for me to put their colour right!!!  ::) ::) ;)
