HI, just got my first plot.  covered in brambles is it possible to recycle them or is it best to burn them?

There are a few threads on this subject if you do a search. If you can shred them they are compostable; I use some of them to build compost bins; however, most people on the site seem to prefer burning.
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

I burn old woody growth, but the new sappy stuff composts perfectly easily.

i struggled all day friday digging out the B8r$tool that grew in between my two gooseberry bushes !!! back breaking, then trying to tackle the little shooters that spread underground. on the plus side if you have pet bunny rabbits they love the leaves as a treat!!
