On Boxing Day in a quiet moment, after several weeks of studying new and online seed catalogues, I had a momentary loss of control of my credit card. Not sure how to tell my OH that I have ordered another bumper parcel of seeds. Perhaps I can pretend it is a seed swap - only I get to keep them all.  :)

I bought lots of old heritage varieties from Baker Creek seeds in US - but at $2 to the pound it's an absolute bargain when seeds are costing only $2 - $3 a packet with minimal postage...........so I keep telling myself.

I also went rampant with Real seeds. Not my fault I say - after all someone on here said that the Oca was in, and having grown the white variety this year I had to try the red didn't I.  ???

I have now promised myself that I will not..will not...will not (fingers crossed) spend anything else on seeds this year sorry winter. ;D

Quotesomeone on here said that the Oca was in

Guilty as charged m'lud - and I'd like one other offence taken into account:

I've also been going on and on about how great Bakers Creek is!

Just tell the OH it's your turn to get the Spanish Pass the Parcel - I never saw so many seeds in one parcel!

;D

Oh Gosh I think I started this with Baker Creek, I better not tell you all about
Two Wings Farm,
Tomatogrowers
Whatcom County
Territorial
Johnny's
Amishland
West Coast
Daves

and Pinetree, who after more investigation have to add them to my good guys list.

I have ordered from all of the above this year

Got two T&M catalogues in the post yesterday. Just have to keep reminding myself that I bought loads in the Wyevale sale and have another lot ordered from RHS.must not buy more, must not buy more... ;D

I unfortunately found Johnny's, Pinetree and Amishland on my own...............trying to resist, and to help I think I will have a look at the other sites you listed.  ;D

Amazin

Can confirm Pinetrees seem fine. Just had a mail from them to confirm order being processed:

Jicama
Fakir Parsley Root (84 Days)
Black Turtle Bean
Beer Friend Soy Bean
Salvia Tiliaefolia (Chia)
Micro Tom Tomato
Tiny Tim Tomato
True Charentais Melon (80 Days)
Poona Keera Cucumber (53 Days)
Ruegen Strawberry

Total including postage, when converted: £7.62. How could I resist?

I plead insanity and throw myself on the mercy of the court - yes, I shall be judged by my peers... and which of us has not succumbed to temptation at some point, from the occasional two-for-one bargain at Wilkinsons or Lidls to the full blown scrum tactics of the Wyevale half price sale. It's an sickness, I tell you, I'M ILL!! (breaks down, sobbing uncontrollably)

Ho hum, no more coffee liqueurs for me, I think...
