A few years back i was on the upper floor of a shopping center looking down on all the shoppers rushing around doing there Xmas shopping when Carol of the bells was playing, when i hear it now it allways reminds me of shoppers dashing from one shop to another allmost in a frenzy to get that last prezzie.

So a Carol of bells it is for me. :)

Go with the first three Suzanne... but any none cheesy...
;D

No votes for Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo, then?

Happy Christmas War is Over, and Bing's White Christmas do it for me - oh and Frankie Goes to Hollywood's The Power of Love (not a Christmas song as such, but a Christmas No. 1 all the same)

I like all of the Christmas songs really, but IN SEASON - NOT BEFORE MID DECEMBER, THANK YOU!! (retailers and radio stations please note).

;D

There's only one good Christmas song, and it's by Kevin Bloody Wilson! "Hey Santa Claus...". It belongs in the watershed really!

It has made my day what a good laugh and i have heard it so many times.. I think peeps should listen to that if they are feeling a bit fed up it will soon put a smile back where it belongs.   Rosebud. ;D

The things I learn from gardening.  My grandchildren would be shocked.  Laughing all the way to bed.

I was dragged into a retail "Hell" on Friday and they were already playing bad versions of Christmas songs... I think by the 8th of December all shop assistants should be able to claim insanity .... ;D

I must admit I have a discerning taste in music.

I am still trying to perfect the art of breathing through my ears ;)

Hot_Potato

well I like several of the ones already mentioned (& loads more) but especially love to hear 'Driving Home for Christmas' by Chris Rea - gives me such a happy Christmassy feeling  :)

another I really like is a Carol called 'Jesus Christ the Apple Tree' had never heard it till about 3 or 4 years ago and just love it, think choir at Kings College Cambridge sing it .....classicfm play it fairly often throughout December

CoffeePot

I like most of the ones mentioned (not listened to the funny one yet, will do when middle 'un goes back to school soon  ;D ) but they all make me sniff a little bit, I find it impossible to sing right through any of them without filling up.
Praps I should stick to Jingle Bells  :)

Jeannine

I read the original words to jingle Bells last week all five verses, quite entertaining actually XX Jeannine

Once in Royal David's City - sung by a lone choirboy at the start of the Christmas Eve Carol Service from Kings College Cambridge. I was very lucky when younger to be able to go to this service each year, thanks to my Dad working there, and I now listen to it each year on the radio - still gives me goosebumps!   :)
