I'm sorry, i can't resist - it has been raining here for 12 hours now, and it is absolutely WONDERFUL!  :)

We haven't had rain in over two months (I don't count a few drops six weeks ago) so the ground was rock hard, and the grass brown.  But last night it started around 6 pm and was still falling at 7 this morning!  All the plants outside are very grateful!

If only it did that one night every week, I'd be able to grow a lot more!

I miss England sometimes!

Wish it would rain here! It has been weeks since we had some! So annoying, all the summer it didn't stop p******g down and now it won't rain at all!!! aaargh what have we gardeners done to deserve this?
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

It's forecast for most of Britain this weekend, but not sure how much.

we have been getting regular rain for the last 2 weeks here stopped watering again which is good but its very cold so i cant work in it at the moment. Being on clay the soil is now wet enough to be workable easly. Much more rain and it will have gone beyond workable so if your on clay be careful what you wish for :)
