Just wondering if any of you have any info on the postal strike? I've just send off for some wine making bits and bobs and forgot about the strike!!

Oh bug**r!! just have!

well, we have been advised not to put anything in the post til thursday, so you will experience a few days' delay with your bits and bobs.
the postmen/women and people in the sorting office are on strike til wednesday lunchtime.

It's not just delay - things get lost or destroyed in the hiatus.

Aaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!! my poor wine needs nutrient!!

I paid a couple of bills last week - and sent them second class - that's the excuse - "the cheque is in the post"

 :o TIM- do you think my seeds will be ok in the post? have made 3 or 4 orders over the past week-  the seeds are worth quite a lot as well  ???

There's always hope - just got a pile of mail this am!

But I'm not sending any yet.

I ordered seeds on the 30th from Real Seeds, and they came the morning of the strike, Thursday  ;D

D'OH- i ordered from real seeds on monday... was hoping to get them thursday too  :-\
lucky you tim- we've had no post at work or home since wednesday!
