Such diversity?

1. Tomorite says 4.5l per bag.
2. Miracle Grow says 2l per plant.
3. On the average - not burning - day, I give 750ml per plant.

Avoiding inches, what do you do?

calendula

I avoid inches, centimetres and mililitres cos I just slosh some home made comfrey liquid feed into the w/can  ;D

tim

Yes - forget the feed, how much per plant??

I tend to do about a gallon a bag, so Tomorite comes closest, I think, but I'm not very metric.

I am a bit lost here Tim, I measure my feed to the quantity of water IE number of cap/spoon fulls to the gallon/litre and as the compost my Tomato,s etc is in is never allowed to dry out i never give them more than 2 pints of water in one day, even on the hotest day. So feeding is just another normal watering day

Me too!

So 2pt each plant or each bag?

davyw1

As grow bags tend to dry out quickly i would go for no more than two pints per day per plant Tim
