Hi, someone sent me these, a tiger had lost her babies  so she was able to adopt some.

I think they are priceless XX Jeannine

well i was wondering myself how come the tiger doesnt just eat em all up.  i know its cos of the skins but...how long can they wear them. still.... really the cutest thing i have seen in ages. apart from thingumajigs puppy.   :D

(apologies miss fanella - had to go and find whose puppy it was. :-[ :D)

grawrc

Amazing really. Maybe sometimes a little deception is a positive thing?

Robert_Brenchley

I wonder whether there comes a point where the tiger recognises them as a free meal.

Fab Jeannine! I like the 'pigs in a blanket' pic where they are lying on mum.
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.

kitten

Awwww i like that  ;D

My cynical hubby reckons they've been photoshopped and the tiger would just eat them - I told him things like that don't happen in MY world  ;)  ;D  ;D
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

Kitten,

I have blown the pics up for a good look. I'm no expert, but I would say that they are not Photoshopped, as you can clearly see the edges where fluffy bits would have had to have been cut out. They are just too good for someone to have done that (in my opinion ::))

So I'm with you in YOUR world ;)

cazy

I'm in your world too.  You see lots of instances where the strangest of bedfellows adopt the most unlikely offspring's/partners.

What about the two gay flamingo's who adopt and successfully rear an abandon chick every season.

I think the pics are just loverly. it warms your spirit.  ;D

I've heard of this one before; it is real, I'm sure.

It's nice sometimes to look at the world and see it how we would like it to be. We can dream can't we :)
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Jeannine

They are from the Sriraha  ( siracha) zoo in Thailand. They have  a website and apparently they do quite a bit of mixing with the species, they hand tame lots of animals, there is a picture of a pig feeding tigers on there too apparently according to the friend who sent me the original pictures.

Not sure I approve, but then I don't like zoos anyway

I'm not in favour of putting animals in cages for our entertainment but I think modern zoos have moved more towards saving species in danger of extinction? Like giant pandas and whatnot.

cazy

I don't like zoos either Jeannine, and I find caged birds totally abhorrent, but I agree with grawrc.

Things are changing for the better, although  there's still along way to go.

The emphasis is now on the survival of the animals, rather than entertaining the public.  (no more chimps tea parties, no new elephants coming to Britain)

Anybody watch Monkey World.  The fantastic work being done by Jim and Alison stretches far beyond our shores.

I'll shut up now, could go on for ever.  :-X
