Allotments 4 All

I am so proud of our little harvest today! We have been to the plot and collected a HUGE round summer cabbage, lots of new potatoes, broad beans, good size calabrese, rhubarb and the first of the baby courguettes. In the garden I have spinach ready (at baby leaf stage), little gem lettuce and spring onions. We also have 4 chilli plants and literally about 100 chillies  and a mushroom kit which is doing well ;D ;D ;D. We have friends over for dinner so I am planning:

*Courguette and mushroom tart with a side salad and sweet chilli dressing
*Sirloin steak with new potatoes, broad beans, brocolli and cabbage
*Rhubarb crumble and custard.

the only things I have to get from the shop are butter, flour, cream, eggs, 2 lemons and the steaks  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
