Hi BB, i can't grow carrots outside so i've built a greenhouse just for them. It has 2 course of blocks all around which is filled with sand and bore holes filled with compost for growing them. I can get about 100 carrots in this, both the small and large variety, and no problem with the carrot fly  ;D . Will put a pic on and show you what i mean as i'm not very good at explaining things.

Well done on the piccy!!!  I have just put in about my 6th lot of carrots, dunno what eats em, but it certainly isn't me! >:( So I am VERY jealous Pete!
