whooaahhh, they out tonight in bolton! went out in the back garden after a bit of rain, found 12, just been out again,double that,if i go to bed, i know i'll wake up with no lettuce, only got 5 at the mo, any emergancy measures that the rain would not effect? thanks.

plastic drinks bottles, 2 ltr.cut the bottom off, weigh them down with something on top, uncover in the morning  :)

thanks manic, it went well with the bottles, just bought some organic chippings that are a very absorbent,and are supposed to dry the slugs out, put it around my brassicas in one complete barrier big circle, tested it with 2 slugs, small, an inch or so long, the first dried up, the second got through,another waste of money,anyone having success with these "chippings", maybe a wider barrier will work. Probarbly no good in the rain.
