1st earlies and 2nd earlies are up, hurray!
however, on closer inspection I noticed a couple of limp leaves that were slightly brown in the middle.
to be on the safe side I pinched them off, but I don't know what this might be.
I'm thinking that it can't be blight, as it's been too dry and isn't it too early?
could it just be sun scorch?
or a mineral deficiency?
or something more serious?!?

hi there .funny i had the same problem on my earlies, like you i took the leaf off. i put it down to the hot sunny weather because it was just on one  leaf, maybe a tiny bit of scorching?  but i may be wrong.

Seems not uncommon. Whatever, for safety, keep taking them off & dispose!

hmm, a fair number of my spuds now have yellowy foliage. :-\

they haven't been watered at all until it rained recently, so is it likely to be because of that or something more serious like a mineral deficiency?

it's a 'new' plot that hasn't been cropped for a few years (previous owner let it go wild so mostly nettles and thistles) so in my ignorance I'm expecting the soil to be quite healthy and wasn't planning on feeding anything this year â€" I have been digging in plenty of well-rotted muck as I've dug beds though...

should I be worried about my spuds?!? ???
