It was raining in Hamstreet as I set off for London on Sunday a.m. but dry as a bone 4 miles away as I approached Ashford. Normally the other way round with less rain than the rest of Kent - is it the same for Rye?

It seems to be Barnowl, have only lived here since last summer, after a v wet and windy winter we have had one hours rain in about 5 weeks.  Looking at metcheck and the beeb it does seem to pass us by down here, although the long term forecast says that over the next month the SE generally will miss out on the rain.....

greenscrump

Are you down in the SE Multiveg??

Suzanne

We have had a couple of hours of rain since the 1st of April which didn't soak in - I am holding off transplanting anything until it rains. So if anyone knows of a good rain dance - rain prayer or anything else can you let me know as getting desperate!
