I was very knidly sent some Cobra climbing french beans by somebody on here & just wanted to check when you would plant them.
I've already done a couple of sowings of dwarf beans & will do more over the next few weeks but I've not tried climbing ones before.  I'll just do one sowing and want to make the most of the seeds.
Ideas welcome please.
Thanks a lot.

Can't help I'm afraid I am growing this variety for the first time this year.

Sowed some on the 12th and noticed they are on the move, i.e. the compost has heaved a little.

Would expect them to emerge in the next couple of days.

I have grown Cobra for a couple of years now and found them to be good croppers. Her in doors would not eat a French bean till i grew them now i cant grow enough.
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful

Hurrah - we're back!!

Thanks for your help again folks.  I usually grow far too may dwarf french beans, eat thousands, give thousands away & freeze the few thousand that are left!  I was kindly offered some Cobra so thought I'd try those too.  I'll look like a french bean if they all grow as well as last year's!

It's one of the best. I'm sowing mine next week.

(Blauhilde is pretty good too.)
