No idea of scale, but it is certainly not PSB & it looks far to big for WSB.

Much more like 9 star perennial. If you sowed that?? Or even a straight Broccoli.

How many florets per plant?

theothermarg

no not psb as tim says could be 9*  if it anly has one head it could be leaminton which i am picking at the moment. you will have to have it for dinner without introductions ;D

it has about 15+ heads showing on each plant i would say, and they growed more since then but still white, the leaves have apurple tint if that helps.

is 9* nice?

Tin Shed

My white sprouting brocolli had a larger central floret and lots a smaller ones further down, just like psb. I can't remember what variety as I bought them in, but mine looks similar.

Could be 9* looks like mine... leave the plants in and if it crops again this time next year it is if it dies off it isn't!

sarah

i would agree with tin shed it looks like my wsb.

tim

If you have 15 heads the size that that one appears to be, I need to know the variety!

my packet just says white sprouting, the flying rats originally ate almost all of it,

I made a wigwam with wire around it and it grew again like ruffmeisters!!

first time for wsb usually grow psb, know which one I'm growing next year :D /.shades x

tim

Wish I could do it like that!!

Truffle

We have a WSB from last year…. I removed all the florets over the season and eventually the plant went back into leaf production, its now a MASSIVE 2 year old WSB and is covered in loads of florets of about the same size as in the picture. I'm going to try this again with some PSB this year, the second year yield is huge  ;D
