I read somewhere that if you grow two sorts they cross pollinate and after all it is the seeds we eat. Ive sewn some for the grankids that Supersprout sent them and they are ornamental so am gonna plant them right away from my edible ones
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I know for a fact that Swift is a supersweet variety, I believe Honey Bantam is just a sweet,if I am right they will cross. The way to check is look at the seed, the supersweets are  smaller and wrinkled than the sweets . If you put 25 feet between them you will be OK. Hope this helps XX Jeannine

Thank you! :).

Think I will only plant 1 of them to be on the safe side as suggested.

Now which one?.......... ;)

Plant the older one, the seeds are not viable for long, and if they are the same age I would definatley go for the Swift, it is sweeter and keeps longer after harvesting. XX Jeannine

Ok, Swift it is, as both are same age....

Looks like I'll have something else to put in the Red parcel too!

Thanks for the advice ;D
