Who watches 'Return to Lullingstone Castle' then. Great programme, better than a soap opera. I think Tom Hart-d**e is brilliant. Ought to be on GW - bring a bit of life back to the old show!

Dont you just want to THROTTLE dear old Trevor?

What a bunch of fools, and what a disgraceful garden to open to the paying public.

i dont like the white paths.....

Tom is a sweetie but not really of this world and seems to be humored by all around him  - Trevor I think may have some cause for his frustration!

Agree with ACE about paying to visit the "World Garden" - what about Ayers Rock??!!
Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.

The thing that drove me to distraction was when Trevor was after either the rent for the his garden that they'd borrowed or some alternative land & when they asked the toffs if it was likely they could find him a bit of land the answer was "unlikely"  UNLIKELY!  they have a whole bl***dy estate of umpteen acres!
is it in the sale?

I can sympathise a bit with trevors position. He wants to move and sell his part of the castle but the situation with the world garden is making that difficult. However his impatience and  failure to see the big picture, that the world garden is critical to the future of the estate, is a bit selfish. However I think the Hart - dykes could be a bit more understanding of his problem and do more to sort him out. Both parties could be more accomodating of each other.  There was no need for Trevor to take such drastic action in the world garden.
