Hello and happy Easter. Anyone got a simple recipe for fish pie. I've got cod and prawns. Wifes working so i'm treating her.

Thats a nice idea. Cook cod in milk and little water and use the liquid to make your white sauce. Had parsley to white sauce if you have any then fish and prawns. Top with mash potato and a little cheese that will brown in the oven. Serve with any veg from the lot.

Northerner, forgot to say, if you look at the site, follow instructions for "cheese sauce" and omit the cheese if you just want plain white sauce, although it would be delish with the cheese too!

No probs Katy i ended up phoning the mother in law. Never reallised white sauce main ingredient was cornflour. Dead chuffed with myself was delicious and getting put forward for husband of the year competition.

save some prawns, cut them up finely & add them to the mash...v.v.v.finely chopped onion to the mash also....but v.v.v.vfinely, mind! Oh! and fork up the mash & sprinkle paprika over it. Classy! 8)  ;D
