Allotments 4 All

I have been given 6 demi johns of which 4 have wine in. My wifes grandad past away last year and I was asked if I wanted some demi johns. There are labels on them stating "Apple & Raisin 2000". The demi johns came with a filter kit and some spare filter pads. Do you think this wine will be safe to drink. Its a lovely clear deep red colour and looks fantastic. What do you think?
