I have tried the search, with no luck.  Please can anyone advise on approximate germination times for these.
I put some in the airing cupboard last week.  Nothing had happened by this w/e.  Am I being impatient? >:(
Thank you

flossie

Mrs Ava

Mine took about 2 weeks in the conservatory.  Patience flossie...I bet they are through by this weekend.  ;D

Thanks for your encouragement EJ :)

Mouseski

13 days on a warm windowsill for our 'big banana' :)

Fingers crossed!
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. (Douglas Adams 1952 - 2001)

This is my germination times for the last  25 times I have grown them.

The figures are in days, as a rule of thumb I work on 7-10 days.

I might add I have a propagator which might be more efficient than an airing cupboard.

Plus variety can play a part in germination.

Germination;10,12,6,13,6,7,10,6,7,8,10,10,12,12,15,8,4,6,7,11,6,10,6,4,9

I hope this helps!

Rosyred

13 days for me and no show yet but my tomatoes seem to be taking forever too as I sowed them around the same time.

shirlton

mine took 3 weeks. Had them on the window sill and after 2 weeks they were the only things that hadn't come up. Stuck them out in the cold greenhouse and up they came
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

cleo

I don`t keep notes anymore but 10-14 days seems about right maybe a bit longer for some chillies
