It looks lovely  :) I climbed up onto the table under the bedroom window to watch it .. I'm lucky to be alive  :o The woodwork in my house isn't safe!

I shouted out of the window to my next-door neighbour .... "CYNTHIA!!! LOOK AT THE MOON!"

She hasn't spoken to me for the past 3 yrs and she didn't reply. Oh well  ;D
Maybe .....she fell off her table !  :D    Rohaise  x

Watched it last night, looking a bit odd hanging out in my pjs at the front door (I live on the main road). :) Went all pinky and then I was too tired to watch longer. But very cool. Love those photos too! Thanks for posting them.

I watched it pretty much right through, no chance of sleeping so I worked  on
my laptop which is in front of the window where it was  best seen,It started off to the left of me and ended up on the right, amazing I had never watched the moon like that before,it just crept along( well I know we did but...) It was a bit creepy at one point but very fascinating . The pictures are wonderful, thank you so much,I will share them at school with the kids if that is Ok with the photographers, XX Jeannine

Fabulous pictures, my equipment isn' good enough for that, but here is a picture of my granddaughter and her friend who came to stay. We had a sort of eclipse party, with nibbles and pop!
Neither of them brought a coat and they got cold outside so they wore granddads.
The smallest one is my granddaughter, Elisha, she took her hot drink out with her as you can see ::)

Friendship isn't a big thing.
Its a million little things.

We went for a walk to keep watch on it happening, the sky was clear all the stars were bright the shadow had just covered the moon when this strange thing came over the roofs and floated away in the distance. itwas just like a balloon with a candle in it, iy couldn,t be a candle I know that but thats what it looked like. no we hadn,t been on the juice this lad was passing and was puzzled as well.
any idea,s? is there a new toy out.? it was quite spookie with the moon in shadow and this light floating away from us tillit disapeared

Wonderful pics Leonnie, clearer than the real thing from here - too much light from the city to see it properly.
